Nate Finnegan, scours the beach looking for shells to make Christmas tree decorations, when he meets a homeless person named Charlie, who thinks he’s an angel. Charlie is wracked with guilt and refuses to face reality by hiding in his delusions. Nate is dealing with his own problems and distances himself from Charlie, till they find out that they a lot more in common with each other. This brings the unlikely duo together and Nate makes true on his Christmas promise to his daughter and then goes the extra mile for the ultimate gift.
